• Marlins Practices will generally continue as currently scheduled.
• Current Families will be offered an option to take a break from swim team at the end of February. We will send out a form next week asking for each family’s decision on that.
• Priority Registration will open up for Knollwood Swim Club’s MAPSC swim team (local summer league). Practices for that will start April 8 (see below).  More info will also be sent out about that next week.

March

• Blue & Bronze practice groups will be offered Tues & Thurs 4:30-5:30pm only
• Invited Advanced Bronze swimmers will practice on Mon/Wed 6:00-7:30pm and Sat 7:30-9:00am
• Silver & Gold practice groups will practice only on Mon/Wed 6-8pm and Sat 7:30-9:00am (reduced pricing)
• March 1-3 NW Indiana Divisional Championships
• March 7-10 IN Senior State Championships; March 15-18 IN Age Group State Championships
• March 28 Marlins Swim Team Banquet!

April

• Marlins will NOT offer training for USA Swimming long course season. We do not have a 50 meter pool at Knollwood so we cannot properly train long course at this facility.
• April 8: Knollwood Swim Club practices start. Practice Group Options:
  • Advanced Team (invite only): Mon/Wed 6-8pm
  • Blue: Tues/Thurs 3:30-4:15pm
  • Blue: Tues/Thurs 4:30-5:15pm
  • Bronze: Tues/Thurs 3:30-4:30pm
  • Bronze: Tues/Thurs 4:30-5:30pm

May

• Knollwood Swim Club will run same practice schedule as April
• For CURRENT Marlins athletes who are continuing with Knollwood Swim Club, we will potentially offer the opportunity to compete in a one-day Saturday Meet on May 4 in Middlebury (SCY)
• For CURRENT Marlins Advanced Team athletes who are continuing with Knollwood Swim Club, we will potentially offer the opportunity to compete in a long course meet at Elkhart Health & Aquatics May 18-19 (LCM)

June-July

• For CURRENT Marlins athletes who are continuing with Knollwood Swim Club, we will potentially offer the opportunity to compete in a one-day Saturday Meet on June 1 in Goshen (SCY)
• For CURRENT Marlins Advanced Team athletes who are continuing with Knollwood Swim Club, we will potentially offer the opportunity to compete in a long course meet at Elkhart Health & Aquatics June 29-30 (LCM)
• Practices will shift outdoors and to the MORNINGS Mon, Tues, Thurs & Fri
• Knollwood Swim Club Meets will typically be on Wednesdays in June & the first few weeks of July

Aug

• Registration for fall short course season with Marlins swim team. Our current plan moving forward (for team) is to offer a developmental USA Swimming competitive swimming program for ages 5-14. We will not be offering a high school training program nor will we be offering a high performance training program for age group swimmers. Our facility design lends itself nicely to a great developmental USA Swimming swim team program (everyone in our Blue & Bronze groups is at the developmental level currently).
