Overview of Fees

When you join Michiana Marlins Swim Team (Year Round) or Knollwood Swim Club (June & July), there are different memberships and fees that are required.

Michiana Marlins (USA Swimming Club)

• Registration Fee:  This is a one time per season fee
• Team Practice Fees: This is a monthly fee. The amount depends on the group your swimmer(s) are a member of (see registration details).
• USA Swimming Membership: This is a yearly membership fee. It is required that each club swimmer is a member of USA Swimming. Usually, this will cost approximately $89 per year. However, if you have a 'Free/Reduced Lunch Letter" from the school, you qualify for the Outreach program that will reduce the cost to $5 a year.
• Meet Fees: When you sign your swimmer up for swim meets, there will be a charge to participate. This will vary per meet. The fees will be in the meet letter so you can view them there.
• Equipment:  Marlins Swimmers are required to have both appropriate equipment for their practice group and some team spirit apparel

Knollwood Swim Club (summer rec league)

• Registration Fee:  This is a once per season fee
• Team Practice Fees: This is a monthly fee (see registration details).
